What is WHERK?
WHERK is a home service software. WHERK helps small home services businesses get organized from the bottom up. This includes everything from scheduling to routing and dispatch, keeping track of employees on the road, invoicing, and collecting payments. WHERK combines all the separate, manual parts of daily operations and streamlines your business to save time, money, and increase customer satisfaction.
What does WHERK do?
WHERK takes in all of your current and new customer data, billing processes, scheduling, and employee details to create a simple interface for you to run your business. With separate desktop views for management, office staff, and a mobile application for crews handling work orders, your whole team will have access to the information they need to complete their work and ensure accurate data and accountability.
What are the benefits of using WHERK Home Service Software?
WHERK is built for the small business owner. We understand that you’re on the go and usually won’t be at a desktop. WHERK takes the same functions that powerful, enterprise-level software offers and distills it down to suit small business management needs, in an easy-to-use mobile solution.
Is there a training period or steep learning curve?
WHERK is incredibly user-friendly. While there will always be a bit of a learning curve with any new software, we did everything necessary to keep WHERK simple and intuitive.
Is WHERK secure?
In short, yes. Your data is backed up in cloud-storage form, ensuring that files, personnel, and customer information won’t be lost if your computer crashes. Everything you enter into WHERK is encrypted, so no one but you can see what you have stored. You can set up permissions based on user type to prevent employees from accessing information that should be off-limits (for example, your technicians won’t be able to access billing or human resource data, but your HR personnel won’t be locked out).
Will I keep my current customer list?
Yes! WHERK imports all of your current data, customer lists included. WHERK also links to QuickBooks, so you won’t need to worry about setting up a new billing process or losing billing data.
Do I have to sign a contract or use a credit card with my free trial?
No, the WHERK free trial is really free, with absolutely no obligations on your part. If you sign up for a monthly subscription with WHERK, you can cancel at any time with no penalty.
PAID PLANS: Please note that there are no refunds or credits for partial months of service, upgrade or downgrade refunds, or refunds for unused, paid months. Review our terms of service for detailed information on subscription practices.
How do I know my trial is over?
We will send an emailed reminder when your WHERK free trial is almost over. At that point, you may either upgrade to a paid plan, or do nothing if you don’t want to continue with WHERK. Since we don’t collect any credit card or other payment information when the trial starts, you will never be billed without specifically signing up for a paid monthly subscription. You can always call or email our WHERK customer service personnel for information or help with signing up.
How do I download the WHERK mobile application?
Currently, access is provided to you and your team at sign up.
WHERK will be available in both Google Play store for Android and the App Store for Apple. Updates will be made to this FAQ section and the downloads will be available on our website at that time.
